Duties and Responsibilities:
Teaching students as per the units assigned
Examining and marking students exam scripts in areas taught as assigned
Practical instructions for students
Supervising students during examinations
Contributing to the development, planning and implementation of a high quality curriculum
Assisting in the development of learning materials, preparing schemes of work and maintaining records to monitor student progress, achievement and attendance.
Maintain faculty expectations as required by the College. Attend faculty meetings, professional development workshops and on-going instructional meetings as required
Handling and scaling student concerns with regard to the assigned units
Other duties as may be assigned to you by the Head of Department- Nutrition & Dietetics
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics
Registered with Kenya Nutritionists & Dieticians Institute and must have a valid Practising License
3+ years relevant working experience required
Previous teaching experience preferred
Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation and leadership skills
Ability to learn our methodology and strategies quickly
Problem solver
Able to maintain high energy level and ability to engage students to ensure an excellent student experience
