The Cleaner will perform a variety of cleaning duties. He/she will be in charge of maintaining all public and private spaces to employer standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
Performs general mopping, sweeping and scrubbing of floors
Empties waste bins and transports waste material to designated collection points
Using vacuuming equipment; vacuums and cleans carpets, performs further treatments such as shampoo or stain-removal as needed
Dusts, damp wipes, washes or polishes furniture
Replenishes consumable items (soap, toilet rolls)
Cleans windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
Reports repairs and replacements needed when encountered on job
Keeps all public spaces clean, neat and tidy
Maintains hygiene, health and Safety in the work area
Qualifications
At least a holder of a Kenya School of Secondary Education Certificate (KCSE)
One year experience in a similar role. Experience in a cleaning company will be an added advantage
Organized and able to follow and adapt to changing schedules or routines;
Good communication skills
Ability to work well alone and with a team
