Operations Project Manager

About the role
The Operations Program Manager role is designed to enhance the trailing and reporting of ops pilots. The role requires the employee to have sound project management skills and controls, as well as improving and embedding policies and processes aimed at evaluating and mitigating potential risks. Furthermore, the employee will be responsible for integrating successful pilots into the core operations of the business. The role requires the holder to develop successful relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders, produce periodic reporting, develop and maintain an effective and accurate management information system with accurate results that will provide support for the decision making at SunCulture.
Responsibilities:

Planning and Coordination

Planning and developing suitable strategies and objectives for running the projects
Ensuring that the program outcomes is constantly connected to the organizational needs
Determining what needs to be done and allocate all resources required to have the work done
Cross project integration to ensure smooth running of all projects operate smoothly
Identifying project performance lapse, and re-directs the team so that all program goals are met.
Creating high-performance teams for every project and realigns duties as and when needed.

Monitoring and Evaluation

Monitoring work completion within deadlines for each work team.
Ensure all programs dependent upon completion of task of another program are fast tracked through nudging of team members or extend the completion deadline.
Assessing program performance and aim to maximize ROI through reporting on the cost benefit to the projects to the organization.

Fiscal Analysis

Overseeing the fiscal integrity of all the projects in the program Developing a target budget for running the projects before resource allocation
Establishing a financial reporting system for projects for an understanding of individual expenditures and the total
Preparing all Reports required by COO in reference to your role
Lead and counsel client and ensure proper vendor governance by improving existing service and performance; enhancing operational stability; contributing to cost savings; and driving revenue opportunities by consistently practicing Vendor Management disciplines including: performance management, relationship management, financial management and contract administration.

Risk Management

Analyzing threats to the success or completion of the program and provide a remedy.
Mitigating risks even when it means changing direction midway or even suspending one or more aspects of the program.
Maintaining a level head and a focus on the end result
Analyzing and resolving all higher scope issues Relationship Management
Manage the contractual relationships with other organizations that may arise from time to time
In collaboration with the other members of the management team, establish effective working relationships with relevant Stakeholders.

Leadership Role

Be visionary and thoroughly informed of the organizational issues in order to adjust programs and ensure they suite the changed needs of the organization
Maintain an effective working relationship with all other directors to ensure that there is effective co- ordination of all company activities in support of corporate objectives.
Deliver through others by delegation of duties, proper time management and getting buy in from the team members
Creating, supporting and maintaining a culture of collaboration, accountability, trust, and customer focus across functional areas
Direct and control all internal operational employees to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained and carry out their responsibilities to the required standard.
Ensuring all team members are aligned to their OKR’s and have ownership and give updates on progress on a weekly basis
Ensure the operations team has all the necessary support, tools and equipment needed for them to execute their role.
Collaborate with the leadership team whenever required to set business objectives and development goals
Provide mentorship and be a coach to all the team members

Must have for the Role

Hands on, detail oriented and with strong execution skills
Communication Skills and should ensure Information communicated is clear and timely.
Experience in drafting departmental budgets and financial forecasting
Futuristic and have the ability to solve complex problem
Independent thinker able to thrive in a fast paced dynamic environment.
In-depth knowledge of the industry and current trends adaptable for SunCulture
Have the ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
Skill in prioritizing and triaging obligations
Be organized and be an expert in time management
Thrive in resources constrained environments
Have discretion in using budgetary allocation for the department
A proven record of ability to achieve through others
Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
Willingness and must have the ability to handle any job assigned under your scope of work
