About the Team
People are at the core of what we do and are a top strategic priority for Komaza. Our Talent department is responsible for sourcing, attracting, identifying, and developing top talent across all functional areas and levels of the company. Komaza is planning to double our team over the next twelve months, and likely grow four-fold in the next three years. To fuel this growth, Komaza is building a strong in-house Talent acquisition and development team and a comprehensive talent pipeline. The Talent Team will be working to attract and retain the very best talent Kenya and the world has to offer.
About This Role
We are looking for a strategist and systems designer who is passionate about talent and understands the unique challenges and tremendous opportunities associated with a rapidly growing fast-paced environment. As a Talent Strategy Associate you will be responsible for developing and implementing scalable programs for talent recruitment, engagement, and development. You will directly report to the Global Talent Director and work in a growing team of dedicated talent specialists.
What You Will Do
Talent Development: Develop and design programs and initiatives to enhance the experience and performance of our employees and accelerate the readiness of successors.
Talent Engagement: Drive the company’s culture by analyzing employee feedback and engagement data with the aim of enhancing our working environment, engaging and motivating our teams, and developing our culture.
Talent Recruitment: Develop hiring and assessment strategies for Director/VP/Chief level to make sure we attract the right talent to fuel our fast growth.
Talent Attraction: Grow our brand presence with the next generation of top talent.
What You Have
Master’s degree Business Administration, Organisational Psychology, or a relevant field
3+ years of post-undergraduate experience; preferable in HR or Talent
Experience working in a growth stage company
Strong analytical and project management skills
The ability to deal with ambiguity, but you equally enjoy the freedom to explore and innovate
How You Work

Build new systems through design-thinking lens and with a lean (“MVP”) approach

What We Offer
