Receptionist

Job Description
Reporting to the Administration Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for assisting in the day to day running of the Front Office in the Delivery Centre.
Responsibilities
Duties will include but not be limited to the following:

Receiving and re-directing visitors at the main reception
Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
Operating the telephone switchboard and transferring telephone calls to intended recipients after screening them properly
Maintains security by following procedures by ensuring that visitors are issued with visitor cards and controlling access via the reception desk
Maintains safe and clean reception area by ensuring that it is clean, tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
Receive,sort,distribute packages received at the reception to respective staff members,as well as dispatch external mail & packages
Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
Maintain office filing
Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as needed

Requirements
The successful candidate will posses;

Diploma in Front Office or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 years’ practical Receptionist experience in a reputable organization.
Fluent in both oral and written English and Swahili.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good organizational and planning skills
Ability to work under pressure and independently.
Proficiency in MS Office Applications.
Good team player
