A full time-opportunity exists for a friendly, enthusiastic IT professional to administer and maintain their software management systems and provide IT support to their staff and students. They are seeking someone to be responsible for all IT and technology related issues in the office in order to free up time for admin and support staff to allow them to perform their duties by eliminating, automating and/or performing required administrative tasks. They are seeking applicants able to work remotely from Monday to Friday from 2:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m (Kenyan time) which is 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 pm. (Brisbane Australia time)
Key responsibilities:
Software Management
Administer and develop CRM (Salesforce), Learning Management System (Moodle), and Student Management System (Wisenet).
Create custom based solutions using PHP, Javascript, Jquery, AJAX and MySQL databases.
Cyber Security
Identify and eliminate malware, viruses and any other security breaches or issues that might jeopardize the security of Apex Training Institute students and staff.
Perform security audits of all their software, hardware and cloud solutions. Put policies, procedures and tools in place to maximise the security of staff and students.
IT Administration
Provide an exceptional level of service and support to staff and students and to resolve their enquiries in a professional, friendly and efficient manner.
Take responsibility for setting class timetables and managing resources required for classes and assessment sessions.
Manage Google Apps.
Requirements:Qualifications
3 – 6 years demonstrated experience in an IT role, particularly maintaining systems and providing administrative support.
Experience with Moodle and /or Salesforce CRM systems is a MUST.
Competent with hardware and software security.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience creating custom apps using PHP, Javascript, Jquery, AJAX, MySQL databases will be highly favourable.
Competent with CMS and Google Apps.
