Regional Business Developer SSA

Job description
As a Glovo Regional Business developer for the Sub Saharan Africa Market, you will be a key representative of our company’s sales team, responsible for creating value in the current Europe countries and help in the new markets.
The Sales team is directly responsible for partnering with both smaller local stores and with bigger brands to display them on our Glovo platform. Based in our Kenya HQ, you will work close to the VP of Sales, Regional Head of Sales and the Sales ops departament.
You will

Help current local sales teams in the roll out plans working with the HQ knowledge and best practices
Ensuring recently launched countries follow the path of success: Onboarding new team members and starting the sales party
Participate in strategic deals in your region
Meet Key Accounts quarterly objectives defined by the company and team
Support Regional Head of Sles managing, coaching and mentoring the sales team
Take strategic decisions based on data
Follow closely market trends and news

Requirements

3 to 5 years of experience in Key Account Manager position dealing with c-levels – preferably in a startup environment
Have sales experience in the different Sub Saharan African countries
Proactive, organized, and obsessed with detail and accuracy
Know how to negotiate your way into a super deal through sales techniques and persuasion
Have excellent communication skills. Eloquent, with good grammar and writing skills
Autonomous and self-starter who is able to work in a highly demanding environment

Experience in sales team management is a must
