Operations Intern

Responsibilities
 Key responsibilities for the role include:

Driving operational excellence in our day-to-day operations of our schools.
Ensuring that the front desk is clean and well
Attending Tatu Primary school management meetings to support Academic team Operations-wise.
Assist with implementation of any and all initiatives put forth by Operations team.
Inventory and requisition support.
Booking school buses/vans for academic team and students, through Transport manager.
Processing of petty cash payments.
Coordination of school events for instance Open Days, parents meetings, staff meetings – ensuring there is an available venue and required furniture, coordinating with catering team to provide refreshments (if need be).
Provide support in the execution of projects related to school goals – new policies and systems.
Support in the successful running of various aspects of school operations – Library, Student Support Services, Kitchen operations, Sports Activities, etc.
Assist in doing cost analysis to identify operational improvements.
Responsible for planning, assigning and directing contract/casual staff, including cleaning and security staff.
Responsible for appraising staff performance; rewarding and disciplining contract/casual staff; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications
 Skills and Qualifications required:

A maximum of 1 year of related work experience preferably in business operations, project management, marketing, event management and/or finance operations.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or other related fields.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly developed organizational, communication and presentation skills.
A high degree of computer literacy.
