Job Summary
A Compliance Specialist provides both clerical and administrative support, ensuring that all of the employee’s documents are compliant and in order in relation to joint commission, Management Solutions, and State specific requirements.
Hours Of work
This is a night position. 40 hours per week. Usual working hours are between 6:00pm-2:00am, Mon to Friday
Responsibilities
Maintain all employees’ documents in an orderly and organized manner.
Shared Drive, Applicant Tracking Software and paper files should all mirror each other.
Follow up with clients and candidates ensuring both parties are up to date with what is needed to complete the file.
Run background reports.
Comes back within 1-3 business days
Share copies of these reports with the candidates that request them
Order drug tests; correctly enter results. Drug tests should be back within 3 business days.
After all documents have been completed and uploaded, make sure to make the employee active in the organizations Applicant Tracking Software by ensuring the birthdate, social security, home address, sex, recruiter and sometimes payroll state are completely filled out. Also, move the employees’ folder from prospect to active folder.
Maintain/update the start date Google calendar as needed. Also, let payroll know when someone is starting a few days in advance.
After employee has had their first day, please email out self-evaluations to employee and evaluation to facility.
Active Employees
Ensure documents are not expiring and everyone is still compliant
Gate clearances take anywhere from 7-14 business days to become clear, ensure that expiring gate clearance are addressed in a timely manner.
Work closely with job candidates, external recruiters and agencies, headhunters and professionals in support of business’s hiring needs.
Provide office support in order to ensure efficiency and effectiveness within the organization.
Answer phone calls and emails in a promptly manner regarding compliance and general questions.
Assist recruiters with small tasks at hand.
Required Skills and Competencies
Strong written and oral skills.
Be computer savvy and have Microsoft Office experience(Word and excel)
Be able to work under pressure.
Excellent customer service skills

Has integrity and can maintain confidentiality.
Willingness and flexibility to adapt to new responsibilities.
Have a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in any field.
