Specific Responsibilities
Approaching and raising funds from companies in the tourism and education sectors and relevant / interested donors and foundations within the region
Raising awareness for GTTP ‘s work within the region.
Development, organisation and co-ordination of GTTP initiatives and events
Co-ordinate logistics of events with venders to ensure successful execution of events
Respond to inquiries, calls, in an appropriate and timely manner
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly status reports
Maintenance and preservation of records and other office correspondences as necessary
Undertake any other duties of a similar nature that are assigned from time to time
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Work together with IT to ensure the social media and websites are regularly updated
Knowledge Skills & Experience
A Diploma / Degree in a Business-related Felid
Sales and Marketing qualification or experience desirable but not essential
Proficient in the use of computers and computer applications
Self-driven and result oriented
Ability to plan and think strategically when approaching prospective members
Professional with ability to maintain good work relationships
Ability to aggressively promote GTTP and its initiatives with decorum
Work with minimal supervision
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Well-spoken and ability to written efficiently in English
