We are pleased to announce the following vacancy in the Ecommerce (Masoko) Department within the Enterprise Business Unit Division. In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below.
Reporting to the Head of Department – Masoko, the position holder will be responsible for developing, driving and implementing Safaricom’s e-commerce strategy around merchant and customer acquisition with insights from the Kenyan Market.
Responsibilities
Develop and drive the e-commerce plans for merchant and customer acquisition to ensure revenue growth through increased customer acquisition (converting offline shoppers to online), site traffic and conversion.
Conduct regular and in-depth analysis of our customer trends and patterns (in collaboration with the data analytics team) and act on this analysis to inform short, medium and long term acquisition and growth strategy
Continually review the relevance and commercial potential of new areas of digital development, and make recommendations to the Leadership
Build and lead a cohesive team to effectively develop e-commerce solutions as per business needs
Requirements
Degree in Marketing with Online Marketing experience
5 – 10 years’ experience managing Ecommerce online platforms.
Experience with web analytics tools.
Program and Project management skills
