Job Description
The Recruitment Team is responsible for overseeing the outreach and hiring of strong candidates for One Acre Fund. We are focused on improving our employer brand recognition, improving our recruitment processes to support hiring managers across all our global teams and ensuring candidate satisfaction with the hiring experience.
The Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for significant portions of the on-the-ground outreach and brand building for the our program, with a specific (but not limited) focus on Kenya.
Roles and Responsibilities
Fluent about One Acre Fund and the Kenya Program – knowledge about operations, current program status and hiring needs.
Research, Sourcing, Networking
Lead Generation – perform research on priority candidates for leadership roles. This includes understanding strong university programs, career services, scholarship and fellowship programs.
Create and execute leadership search strategies with a variety of departments for the Kenya program team and then identify, evaluate and present leadership talent to senior management across the Kenya program team.
Create and Maintain Relationships with key networks in Kenya – this means taking over existing relationships, as well as building new relationships with universities, fellowships, government scholarship recipients, social enterprises, development organizations, recruitment agencies etc.
Leadership Support – supporting General Partners or team leads with inquiries and handling all general sourcing inquiries. Contributing to reports shared with leadership teams on sourcing and outreach efforts.
Support Kenya Staff in Outreach Efforts – provide support to staff members in their efforts to network, cold-call and engage individuals.

Qualifications
We are looking for a dynamic individual with a passion for people support and some experience in HR, Customer Service or Relationship Management. Candidates who fit the following criteria are strongly encouraged to apply:

Organizational Skills – demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and stay organized while also managing general administrative work.
