The Scope
The suitable candidate will ensure all staff in the department adheres to the laid down Standard procedures and policies and exhibit Food & Beverage service core values.
She/he will ensure table appointments, including Club house arrangements, are impeccable and set correctly.
The postholder will:
Ensure that stations have their correct mise-en-place,
maintain high standards of morale and personal appearance of service waiters/waitresses,
liaise with Food and Beverage Manager regarding special functions,
ensure regular stocktaking of all operating equipment at specified intervals and
maintain a high degree of interest in self-development, displaying this by making suggestions for realistic improvements.
Candidate requirements
She/he should have relevant Degree or Diploma especially in Food & Beverage or restaurant management from Utalii College or any well recognized institution and at least five years (5) experience in restaurant supervision.
She/he must be proactive, team player, organized and have effective management skills: delivering profit centre profitability.
She/he must be thorough and of good relationship skills.
She/he must be presentable, possess interpersonal skills, flexible and possess relevant computer applications.
