Channel and Special Projects Sales Coordinator

Job description
The Job holder will lead a team of Subscription and channel sales executives. The areas of responsibility and accountability will include the following:-

Prospect for new clients to grow subscription, corporate customers and partnerships as per set targets;
Ensure timely payments and collection of all due amounts for subscribers, Corporates, government agencies and direct agents;
Ensure optimal Order management in order to achieve set targets per publication daily;
Give timely feedback to the Commercial Manager and management from the field to enable accurate decision making;
Manage and track all clients’ complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner;
Maintain and achieve balance between customer orientation and results-driven approach;
Maintain and remain in frequent contact with clients for long term partnerships, ensuring growth of Subscriptions, direct agents, export, and corporate clients.
Negotiate agreements and contracts with potential clients;
Ensure monthly reconciliation for direct agents is done on a timely basis;
Monitor subscription expiries and renewals on a timely basis;
Process all returns in a timely manner and ensure all routines related to returns are closed within the cycle while ensuring returns targets are met for the applicable channels;
Oversee timely delivery of Newspapers and related documentation to assigned customers;
Actively participate in promotional and merchandising activities in the assigned markets/outlets; and,
Continuous performance reviews for channels sales team.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a business related field;
At least 2 years’ experience in FMCG environment;
Ability to write complex reports;
Demonstrable passion for sales and marketing;
Understanding of the dynamics and complexity of print sales and circulation; and,
People management skills.
