Job Responsibilities
Under the supervision of senior team members develop, monitors, manages, and evaluates small research projects and Research Support Projects (RSPs);
Assist Program staff in establishing log frames, M&E work plans, and targets during the drafting donor project proposals as well as throughout project implementation
Develop partnerships with other funding agencies to support project activities,
Negotiates with researchers to increase the use they make of research as input in policy formulation
Provide the required attention to all activities required to build understanding and confidence for the project, including field visits; follow-up responses, and reporting obligations.
Compile technical reports and project briefs including editing and formatting of documents and writing minutes.
Draft tools and their revisions as well as data collection procedures under the supervision of the M&E Manager ( logical framework, project performance tracking, indicators, data flow chart, M&E manuals)
Perform regular field visits to ensure the quality of data collected by Programs and to verify the accuracy of reported data
Review and analyze weekly reports to identify the causes of potential bottlenecks in project implementation and to enhance quality of reporting.
Create and maintain an electronic archiving system of project related documents, and manage assignments and tasks related to technical activities including project data entry, analysis and
Provide guidance and maintain frequent communications with program partners.
Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for programs.
Identify and contact new program partners for business expansion.
Support all M&E initiatives for assigned grant(s)/project(s) including monitoring data quality, tracking the progress of activities, and contributing to staff capacity building initiatives as necessary
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Community Development studies or any other related and equivalent disciplines from a recognized institution;
Minimum of 3 -years’ experience in a similar position preferably in an NGO/ a donor funded organization
Knowledge and experience in Monitoring and Evaluation is critical
Proven ability to conceptualize, develop, plan and manage projects/mass events as well as transfer information and skills.
Proven organizational, analytical, negotiating, communication (oral and written) and training skills.
Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and cross-cultural communications skills.
Ability to prioritize, focus and deliver quality results within deadlines while meeting conflicting work demands and targets; working with or without teams with minimum supervision.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact professionally with donor, project stakeholders, County collaborators and staff at all levels of the organization.
Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision to meet strict deadlines

Updating patient master index;
Directing patients to relevant clinics;
Scheduling of patients to the consultants and specialist clinics;
Assigning codes to diseases and surgical procedures according to the International Classification of Diseases and Procedures in Medicine and updating on the NHIF Portal;
Preparing Health records and reports; and
Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
Be a Kenyan Citizen;
Be a holder of a Diploma in Health Records and Information Technology from an institution recognized in Kenya.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work effectively with a team in a culturally diverse environment
