Duties and Responsibilities
The Finance Manager’s duties and responsibilities will evolve as the business’s needs grow and evolve, but will include the following:

Developing and Implementing Systems, Processes and procedures organization wide.
Developing and implementing Internal audit functions and evaluation and collating and streamline the flow of information across the organization.
Conducting action oriented financial and operational related analysis.
Creating ongoing business intelligence reporting and evaluating organization through data driven metrics.
Documenting departmental processes and procedures and spearheading change operational changes.
Identifying and implementing team-upskilling and training programs.
Management reporting, taxation, risk management, financial budgeting process, and special projects (e.g treasury management, fundraising and investor reporting).

Requirements

Proven work experience in a financial position with managerial responsibilities.
Experience in the financial sector (financial analysis, audit, management within a finance department).
Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns.
A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Proficient user of finance software.
