We are looking for energetic, passionate professionals who would establish, own and drive presales as the Security Network Presales Architect is expected to play significantly by generating and increasing visibility of the role in this transformation journey. Based out of our Nairobi office, this role would be part of the Presales Team and provide long term career growth.
Ideal candidates should have 7 – 14 years’ relevant experience & In depth knowledge of various networking & security vendors like Cisco, Aruba Networks, Palo Alto, Kaspersky, HP Security, Blue Coat, McAfee etc and have proper understanding of Security architecture of large enterprises and ability to demonstrate AGC’s value as an end to end solution provider.

Few Key Responsibilities include:
Drive the data solutions practice to provide AGC Networks Ltd solution proposition to customers on Networking Infrastructure and Information security to assist the sales org achieve sales targets.
Execute business strategies and go to market models with technology partners to increase/enhance organizational revenues in relevant geography.
Personally focus and develop the networking infra and information security business for increased revenues.
Directly engage and maintain relationships with key customers/accounts.
Identify & develop technology experts within team – Skill development of pre sales team.
Create & update solutions template based on different solutions type time to time.
Good understanding of IP networking.
Should have worked on configuration of switches & routers in large enterprise domain – L2 & L3 technology.
Complete understanding of switching & routing technology – VLAN , STP , MSTP , OSPF , BGP , ACLS etc .
Holistic approach towards IT infrastructure security & technical know-how of FW , IPS , VPN , Patch Management etc.
Should be able to build data center solutions including non-IT components.
Should be able to understand the client’s requirement & prepare the solution document.
Must be able to make competitive proposals & comparisons for the solution provided.
Should have exposure in preparing solution for large RFP’s as lead solution consultant.
In depth knowledge of various networking & security vendors like Cisco, Aruba Networks, Palo Alto, Kaspersky, HP Security, Blue Coat, McAfee etc.
Understand Security architecture of large enterprises and ability to demonstrate AGC value as an end to end solution provider.
Good understanding of wireless technologies including site survey methodologies.
The Standards for Measuring Success:
Number of active proposals vis a vis stated requirements from sales.
Accuracy of proposals vis a vis actual requirement.

Ideally, you will be degree qualified, relevant SI Solutions Architect experience from IT&T Industry background. You should be are able to work independently and with low, direct supervision.
