Learning Specialist

Purpose of the job:
You will ensure capability building and knowledge transfer of Leadership Development, (LDv) and Education and Training, (E&T) methodologies and practices through training, coaching and assessment activities. You will also identify and ensure consistency and alignment of Leadership Development and Education and Training practices and tools within the Learning and Development strategic framework and principles.
Key Responsibilities will be to:

Define the Education and Training (E&T) and Leadership Development (LDv) training, coaching and assessment strategy and framework as developed by the Master Pillar;
Develop training, coaching and assessment plans according to the roll out plan;
Deliver appropriate training and coaching to transfer knowledge to people within function pillars;
Implement Education and Training and Leadership Development governance including implementation plan;
Promote and align methodology and approach, including benchmarking and exchange of best practices;
Perform regular assessment to ensure the correct application of methods, coaching and knowledge sharing;
Responsible for the establishment of Education and Training and Leadership Development pillars and support in the identification of resources for functional pillars;
Responsible of the alignment of the E&T methodology with the Learning and Development strategy;
Responsible of the simplification of tools, methods, contents, in line with the standardize, simplify and share principles and reflected in the Nestlé learning principle;
Provide support to cluster & HRBPs in identification of training needs;
Responsible for consolidation and tracking implementation of training plans including reporting of quarterly training dashboard;
Support Training and Organisation Development Manager in the preparation of training and development budgets;
Ensure compliance to all regulatory and governance requirements and guidelines as prescribed by Nestlé and other governmental authorities.

The ideal candidate should possess the following minimum skills and competencies;

Honors degree from a recognized university, preferably in the areas of Human Resources / Business Administration or Sociology;
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a learning and development role or leading development initiatives;
Ability to leverage the opportunities generated by digital learning technologies and capacity to train trainers;
Demonstrable experience driving continuous improvement initiatives;
Strong communication, influencing and interpersonal skills;
Ability to deal with ambiguity/ simplify complexity and manage multiple stakeholders;
