Our client a chain of restaurants is currently seeking to fill the role of a Shift Manager. The successful Candidate will supervise lower level staff & ensure: employees show up for work, all assigned tasks is completed, customers are happy, and all business runs smoothly.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Scheduling and directing staff in daily work assignments to maximize productivity.
Ensuring food quality and service standards were consistently met.
Actively participate in proper restaurant supervision and staff training.
Addresses and resolves customer inquiries and complaints.
Report on sales and costs to make accurate future weekly projections
Revising operations in menu offering, scheduling, and staffing adjustments to increase efficiency
Ensuring compliance with legislative issues operational standards, company policies
Estimating food needs, placed orders with distributors, and scheduled the delivery of fresh food and supplies.
Minimum Requirements:
Diploma in Culinary Studies
5 Years work experience in in the food Service Industry
On or off-site management training prior to start date required
Capable team leader; can provide constructive feedback and support
Verbal and written communication skills
Adept at assessing situations and making decisions
Available for flexible schedule
Professional appearance and demeanor
