A multi-facetted role in a young region for Merck Consumer Health with a 2-digit growth rate and a focus to build a sustainable business in Africa: Driving all areas of supply chain and managing all customers and partners (internal and external) from a demand and supply perspective to achieve overall business objectives. Ownership of operational flows key, including optimization projects (such as forecast and demand planning, inventory control, inbound- and outbound processes, customs clearance, product roll-out etc.) to ensure product availability to match sales growth.
Profound-excellent knowledge (6-8 years) and understanding of Supply Chain, Customer Service, Warehousing and Distribution processes
Exposure to and experience in African markets – Main countries covered in the short-term would include Kenya and surrounding east african countries
Degree in business or other technical discipline with experience in Supply Chain
Fluent in English and Swahili, French is a plus
