We are a company in Agribusiness and seeking to recruit a Produce and Projects Sales and Marketing Manager.
You will also be responsible for planning, implementing and directing the sales activities of the company in a designated area to achieve sales objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and implement a strategic business plan to identify, pursue and acquire elite customer accounts that expands company’s customer base and ensures it’s strong presence develop a sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues
Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales & marketing team
Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales & marketing representatives
Delegate responsibility for customer accounts to sales personnel and oversee the activities and performance of the sales team.
Ensure sales team have the necessary resources to perform properly
Liaise with the production department to ensure customer quality expectations of our farm produce are met and exceeded
Liaise with other company functions to ensure achievement of sales objectivesassist with the development of sales presentations and proposals and co-ordinate and monitor online sales activity
Investigate lost sales and customer accounts track, collate and interpret sales figures and help prepare budgets, control expenses and monitor budgets
Forecast annual, quarterly and monthly sales revenue and generate timely sales reports
Develop pricing schedules and rates, formulate sales policies and procedures
Maintain inventory control, conduct market research and competitor and customer analysis
Analyze data to identify sales opportunities, develop promotional ideas and material, attend trade meetings and industry conventions
Cultivate effective business relationships with executive decision makers in key accounts
Network with individuals and businesses to generate and identify business opportunities
Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
Assist the company in meeting their customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping the company competitive and innovative
To propose the best technical and economic solutions (quality, cost, deadlines) and to negotiate new contracts.
Be fully conversant with the commercial and technical requirements of customers and competitors within preselected and defined market sectors.
Identifying market opportunities through meetings, networking and other channels, guarantee the establishment of referrals upon targeted clients.
Meeting existing and potential clients, identifying and gathering their specific needs at an early stage
Job Qualification and Experience
Bachelor of Commerce in Sales and Marketing or related Field
4-5 years’ experience in sales of produce or projects
Exceptional, organizational, communication, presentation and negotiation skills
Excellent problem solving skills
