FMCG Territory Leader Chief Technology Officer FMCG Marketing Manager

Our Client in the FMCG Industry seeks to recruit a Territory Leader in Nairobi, Kenya.
He/she will be responsible for guiding the sales force to achieve respective route targets both Volume and Numeric Distribution.
Build a strong route to market network and provision of efficient customer service so as to attain sustainable, profitable sales volume growth and to maximize sales opportunities presented in the market for all our products.
A background in FMCG knowledge / experience would be preferred

Roles

Ensure the territory achieves given sales targets (Volume and numeric distribution) through hands on supervision of given accounts/ territory in line with the sales and distribution plans, providing weekly and monthly reports of the same.
Ensure adequate Company portfolio brand listings within assigned territory.
Provide on -ground supervision and ensure the Territory Sales Representative within assigned territory visits all listed outlets and effect 100% journey plan compliance.
Liaise with Marketing Manager and assist in the execution of the merchandising and promotional activities as per approved plans in assigned territory.
Create value adding marketing/ business relationships, within the territory clients by resolving customer concerns and feedback.
Collect information on market intelligence, analyze market competition within the territory and prepare reports on market trends, competitor to support decision making.
Ensure adequate product listings and product visibility in outlets and monitoring brand trade performance through client call cycle schedules.
Assist any Company regional budgeting activity assigned and drawing up of budgets for market activity recommendation.
Supervise, motivate and develop the territory Sales and Distribution Representatives assigned in their areas to ensure maximum returns for the business.

Job Requirements

Bachelor degree in a business-related field.
A minimum of 5 years in sales and distribution within the FMCG Industry.
Working knowledge in the respective area will be an added advantage.
Possession of a clean and valid driving license.
Practical experience in use of MS packages.
