Conference – Sales Intern

Sales Internship Key Responsibilities
To plan and set the sales forecasts for the conference
To identify and personally manage the accounts of major customers to maximise sales.
To manage the leads agency to achieve new sales leads.
To follow up the leads produced to obtain new clients, including visiting client premises, where appropriate, to secure new business.
To develop and maintain a database of enquiries received and action plan to convert to actual sales.
To produce weekly activity report to the Manager
Cold call as appropriate and meet with potential clients to maximize opportunities.
Maximize revenues through research, company visits
If leads don’t convert to sales, ascertain why
Work closely with the manager to maximize sales and put in to practice any ideas
Track and record activity on new business progress
Identify opportunities for new campaigns and offers
The role will be focused on nurturing the existing client base as well as focusing on new business exploiting exceptional sales skills with effective and successful results.
