Education (Minimum level of education)
Diploma or Higher National Diploma in Clinical Medicine & Surgery or other related area of specialization
Knowledge A comprehensive understanding of clinical and/or surgical procedures, patient care procedures, medical protocols and testing procedures
Skills Excellent clinical skills
Interpersonal skills necessary to interview, teach and counsel patients;
Ability to analyze and evaluate patient history, physical examination findings and laboratory values, and make preliminary diagnosis of patients for review by physician if necessary
Required license /Certificate
Registered with the Clinical Officer’s Council of Kenya
Work experience 2 years’ experience in provision and management of clinical services
