Quantity Surveyor

Duties:
To act as a deployed Quantity Surveyor on G3 Systems project in Nanyuki, Kenya. The role involves the day to day administration of a re-measurable contract including:
Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities in civil, mechanical and electrical disciplines.
Value completed work, ensuring that G3 Systems obtains best value for money and arrange payments;
Subcontract payments, variations and final accounts
Preparation of cost to complete
Cash flow and turnover forecast
Advise on procurement strategy;
Identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risks;
Prepare and analyse costings for tenders;
Provide advice on contractual claims;
Location: Nanyuki, Kenya
Start: June / July 2017
Qualifications required:
Recognised qualification in Quantity Surveying
Safety Passport or an equivalent qualification (CSCS Card)
Experience required:
Strong and proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on large scale civils build with a value range of £10-15M
Strong negotiation skills
