IT Sales Administrator

Reporting to the Business Development Manager, this position is responsible for revenue generation and quality customer service through providing essential support to the sales team, efficient handling of sales orders and dealing with customer queries.
Responsibilities for the IT Sales Administrator Job
Sales;
Receive customer enquiries, acknowledge receipt and respond to them effectively
Send quotations and follow up on them.
Attend to walk-in clients with sales enquires
Contact customers to resolve any queries or obtain information
Tenders and Pre-qualifications;
Research on available tenders and pre-qualifications on newspapers and websites
Gather the necessary information and resources to participate in the available
Submit bid and follow up on the bid tenders and pre-qualifications 
Order Processing;
Confirm price and availability of products from suppliers
Liaise with the procurement personnel to process orders by sharing the required information to facilitate order processing
Follow up with procurement and logistics personnel to ensure delivery of orders
Account Management;
Identify client needs and share quotation for the requirements
Follow up with clients on pending quotations
Ensure client satisfaction on orders placed
Establish good relationship with client by giving clear and precise information
Reports;
Generate weekly sales report
Generate report on closed sales and projected sales
Qualifications for the IT Sales Administrator Job
 Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related course
Minimum of 2 years’ sales experience in an IT background
Excellent communication skills – be able to communicate effectively within the team as well as with others in the company
Attention to detail – achieve thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task
Customer focus – recognise both internal and external customer’s needs and balances available resources and skills to strive to exceed them.
Problem solving skills – be able to break down problems into their essential elements, stay focused on the issue, formulate and assess alternatives
