Job Summary
This role is responsible for delivering human resource services including various elements of HR data management, payroll administration, employee engagement and welfare, and HR analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in the formulation of the Africa HR strategy, operating plans, policies, and in key company decisions as part of the Africa HR team.
Prepare monthly payroll reports and ensure timely submissions for approval by the HR Generalist, to external payroll administrators, and internal accounting teams.
Assist in the planning and implementation of welfare and engagement initiatives, including providing guidance to welfare committees on policy compliance, monitoring engagement activity budgets, and developing activity reports.
Collect, process, file, and maintain accurate employee data on physical files, SAP, and other applicable media, including onboarding, development, ESH, health insurance, and exit management data.
Conduct statistical analysis on HR data, prepare periodic and ad hoc analytical reports, and assist the HR Generalists in preparing and providing data led insights on people issues in Africa.
Assist the HR Generalist in providing process governance in the hiring, compensation, and exit of contract employees.
Related Job Experience and Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in human resources functions in a multinational or international HR consulting firm.
Minimum of an undergraduate degree. Master’s degree in a business-related field is an added advantage
Proficiency in SAP is an added advtantage
Should be willing to work on contract terms
