Functional Responsibities
The web developer specialised in Drupal and website management will be responsible for implementing UNEP’s web renewal project and will do the following:
Designing and implementing templates and information architecture based on technical specification provided by the consultancy firm;
Setting up and configuring Search Optimization Engine for UNEP;
Configuring relevant and required Drupal 8.0 modules;
Create themes, templates, CSS and HTML 5.0 code;
Migrate content from existing sites;
Undertake project management to ensure timely delivery

Experience
At least 3 years experience in designing and developing sites using Drupal.
Languages
Fluency in English is required

Skills
Web developers should have advanced knowledge and experience in:
Required
Proficiency in Drupal Content Management System;
Knowledge of web development (PHP, MySQL, HTML/CSS, JavaScript)
Knowledge of commonly used Drupal modules such as Views, CCK, Taxonomy, Features etc.;
Knowledge and experience with cross browser web development for IE, Firefox, Safari and Chrome;
Experience with version control (GIT) such as creating branches, tags, etc. and working in a multi-developer environment;
Experience in developing training manuals and training to content editors.
