Background
The Central Province Response Integration Strengthening and Sustainability Project (CRISSP Plus) is a 5 – year project that is a partnership of the United States Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), University of Nairobi School of Medicine (UONSOM), Palladium and the County Health Management Teams of Kiambu and Kirinyaga
Responsibilities
Provide technical support and mentorship to the regional hub offices and respective supported health facilities in program monitoring and evaluation.
Act as a link between the CRISSP team and (S)CHMTs in data related issues.
Deploy, support and troubleshoot electronic medical record systems in supported facilities.
Collect, collate analyze and report health information to relevant stakeholders using national reporting tools, Electronic Medical record systems, DATIM and DHIS.
Organize and participate in M&E related capacity building activities targeting supported site staff and other stakeholders.
Work with CRISSP staff and stakeholders to strengthen systems for monitoring patient outcomes, quality of care, defaulter tracing, data quality assurance, data collection, collation analysis and dissemination.
Attend designated M&E/Date meeting at national. County and sub county level.
Requirements
Minimum of a diploma in Health Records and Information Technology, Information Technology, Epidemiology, Clinical Medicine, Nursing or related disciplines
At least five years of demonstrated experience in monitoring and evaluation of HIV/AIDS care and treatment, PMTCT, TB/HIV and HTC programs in Kenya.
Knowledge and experience in using MOH tools, DHIS and DATIM
Proficient use of computer packages to generate and analyze reports (Excel, MS Access, Power BI) is required.
Working knowledge of Electronic Medical Record system, SQL and statistical packages is a plus.
