The ICT Development and Program Coordinator will focus on the following:
Identify, analyze and prioritize the ICT needs of farmers, industry, and producer organizations and others, such as financial institutions
Develop proposals for ICT solution development and implementation
Develop ICT strategies with grants for solution development, capacity building, finance, and innovation in coordination with the regional team, partners and contractors of
Develop business cases for farm professionalization, service provision, input provision, efficient production systems and digital agricultural solutions
Support data analytics/mining to optimize transparency, decision-making, learning, continuous improvement, impact measurement and development of policy recommendations
Support the mapping of potential partners and funding sources at national, regional and international level
Create relationship management systems and network with key strategic partners related to ICT solutions
Support the development of a regional strategy in coordination with the Solidaridad staff to incorporate ICT into our operational model, in alignment with global Solidaridad Network strategy
Develop and implement training and learning programs for Solidaridad staff and partners in order to improve skills and understanding working with new ICT solutions
The ideal candidate will fulfill the following requirements:
A relevant professional degree or equivalent documented professional experience
Fully bilingual English and Spanish capacity required: native spoken and written proficiency in English a significant plus
Proven background, knowledge and track record on ICT solution development, including collaborative design and validated implementation.
Demonstrated track record in proposal writing, fund-raising, technical reporting
5 years professional and living experience in Latin America; experience in Central America or Mexico a significant plus
Knowledge of and experience working in multicultural settings
Strong analytical and research skills with a vision for sustainable agriculture and landscapes
Experience developing partnerships with businesses, NGOs, public and private foundations, donors and government actors and investors: multi-stakeholder platform/dialogue experience a plus
Service-oriented, pragmatic, flexible
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including public speaking
Must be able to travel in region, with occasional travel to other regions
Must be able to work in Guatemala or another country in the region
