Responsibilities for the Senior Supply Chain Manager Job
Manage daily operations to ensure a dependable and efficient supply chain for a distribution network of parts, filtration, engines and gensets (goods).
Manage, coach, and develop staff; work with employees to set goals in training and development, performance, and career planningMitigate long term supplier constraints by collaborating with functional stakeholders.
Create common supply chain processes and procedures by establishing collaborative business partner relationships.
Develop, understand and improve necessary Key Performance Indicators and reporting thereof.
Analyse operational trends and develop corrective action plans.
Address supply chain failures/ risk events promptly to ensure operations stability; escalate as appropriate.
Prepare and manage an annual operating plan including expense resources, and capital.
Manage, coach, and develop staff; work with employees to set goals in training and development, performance, and career planning.
Ensures an effective supply chain operational controls environment including trade compliance.
Implement supply chain policies, procedures, processes and work instructions
Skills Required
Supply Chain Knowledge – Completely understands the role of each function in the Supply Chain and how their Key Performance Indicators support the needs of end customers. Has been a leader in a number of Supply Chain functions.
Analytical Reasoning – Has an advanced understanding of analytical methodologies and the ability to utilize various statistical methodologies. Provides recommendations for business actions based on the conclusions drawn from analysis in a way that is meaningful to the business partner.
Fosters Open Communication – Shows outstanding active listening skills that draw out difficult or contentious information. Chooses the appropriate communication vehicle for the situation. Articulates a measurable communication strategy within group organizations
Establishes Plans – Demonstrated results indicating deep knowledge of establishing plans. Uses structured tools, processes and systems to plan initiatives and document work clearly
Manage Execution – Demonstrated results indicating deep knowledge of managing execution Applies a broad range of planning and monitoring tools. Defines planning and review practices that result in few missed milestones and minimal surprises. Monitors progress of others and redirects efforts when goals change or are not met. Measures effectiveness of execution through defined metrics and disciplined monitoring.

B.S or BA in applicable field, MBA preferred
