TASKS OF THE POSITION Foster education and training for basic and soft project and program management skills, and establish a project manager career and development framework
Per applicable project, ensure professionalism in the execution of and compliance to, all internal and external regulations as far as architecture, information risk, change administration, quality of use testing and the ability to offshore are concerned. Align changes along IT programs with organizational change management and communication
Perform communication planning for IT topics, drive/ coordinate publication via IT communication channels. Formulate/coordinate programs and initiatives geared towards improving/enhancing end- user IT experience, knowledge and awareness plus skills and competencies in the use of IT resources. Foster a culture for improvements and innovations by driving the LIFE values in monitoring and supporting changes. Align with the Communications Business Partner for the publication of internal IT communication material
Execute processes that pro and govern the use of information systems and platforms (Business Applications (BA) a Intelligence (BI)) that enable Bayer to be a data and information driven organization that leverages information and information systems to run the business better in order in order to achieve the Company’s mission and business objectives Partner with the Bayer Group lead teams and CoEs in championing optimized utilization and best practices in the local Organization’s use of BA & 81 systems
Advance, direct and support innovative software-driven initiatives in the workplace environment (eg. collaboration) that promote the efficacy of Bayer business and the day-to-day running of the organization
Own the program and project co-ordination and process and steer programs and and projects with requisite responsibility. Additionally, contribute to collaboratively establish the framework’s harmonized methods and documentation plus continuous improvement. Monitor methodologies applied in practice and support frameworks for the transparent reporting and KPI monitoring for IT projects
WHO YOU ARE     • Relevant degree in a related field with post-graduate qualification in Computer Science/Information Technology/ Business     • Experience in project execution/management     • Proven leadership skills honed through leading a program, project or change management situations     • Proven leadership capabilities, international mindset, attitude and sensitivity     • High level of energy, enthusiasm, sense of urgency and strong service orientation     • Pro-active attitude to “make things happen’, quality results and hands-on-styleCOMPETENCIES    • Customer focus    • Collaboration    • Manages complexity    • Drives results
