Social Policy Internships Qualifications
A first-level university degree in social protection, social policy, economics, public policy, or another field relevant to the assignment.
Currently enrolled in a second-level university degree program in a related field.
Fluency in English is required. Fluency in a second UN language relevant to the region (e.g., French, Portuguese) is an advantage.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Comfort with statistical analysis tools is an advantage.
Familiarity with the debates around social protection at a global or regional level is an advantage.
Terms of the Social Policy Internships
Internships are typically unpaid.
Individuals must fund their own travel and living expenses.
Individuals must have proof of medical insurance covering their time at the duty station.
Individuals are responsible for arranging any visa or immigration requirements.
