Responsibilities for the Direct Sales Representative
The role requires significant interaction with clients, which may be face-to-face or over the telephone. Tasks are varied and include:
Sale company products and services to allocated sales routes
Develop and meet at least 5 customers daily to close sales
Prepare contact lists for follow up
Report daily, weekly and monthly activities to the sales manager.understanding customers’ diverse, specific business needs and applying product knowledge to meet those needs; cold-calling in order to create interest in products and services, generate new business leads and arrange meetings;
Identifying and developing new business through networking and courtesy and follow-up calls; preparing and delivering customer presentations and demonstrations of the service, articulately and confidently;marketing and promoting a portfolio of products by writing and designing sales literature and through attending industry events; maintaining awareness and keeping abreast of constantly changing customer needs
Developing effective sales plans using sales methodology;
MeetingSET sales targets by managers and contributing to team targets
Networking with existing customers in order to maintain links and promote additional products and UPSALES;
Managing workload in order to organize and prioritise daily and weekly goals;
Contributing to team or progress meetings to update and inform colleagues.

Qualifications for the Direct Sales Representatives Job
This area of work is open to all graduates but a diploma in one of the following subjects may be particularly more suitable:
Diploma in sales
Diploma in business information systems/technology;
Diploma in business management; the candidate should have interest and strong knowledge of IT
The candidates should have a strong sales background in IT solutions
The candidate should understand the skills of smart selling(negotiations and closing sales)
Work experience
Experience of a customer service or sales environment in ISPs is desirable
