As a Subtitle Coordinator, you will be scheduling subtitle work, sending work materials, dispatching corrections, relate technical issues with Global Subtitle support, collect and send finished subtitles for publishing and verify successful display in players.

Scheduling/dispatching jobs to in-house subtitle editors and freelancers according to Supervisor’s weekly/daily plan. You will be preparing a comprehensive report (in English) on each quality control process.
Send materials (video proxy, pre-translated .SRT file, scripts) to freelancers.
Assist FLs to use machine translation automation share folders.
Ensuring that freelancers are being assigned titles according to priority and that they meet the adhered deadline.
Follow up communication with freelancer for any delays or urgent files that need additional attention.
Ensuring that vendors are reverting files back in proper condition (e.g. correct file name format).
Delivering final subs to global publish/transcode.
Spot checking the display and sync of subs of their language in user interface post-publish.
Update machine translation Glossary lists to Asia Online website
Update Master Tracking Sheet, send invoices to finance, collect freelance agreements and give to HR.
Collect and store submitted SRT files into Google Drive repository, in appropriate language and regional folders.
Report complaints or requests regarding subtitles to Supervisors for the files to be fixed and re-transcoded.
All these must be communicated to the supervisors from all source contact points (CS, Content, QA, Slack one-offs etc.)
Screen & fix Subtitles file naming format before submitting to support.
Process freelancers’ monthly invoices (cross-check amounts, update invoice numbers into Freelancer sheet) for Finance’s reference every month.
Forward all bank notifications (finance) thru email to freelancers once the payment had been processed for their reference.
Back up other coordinators or Supervisor when required. (not across teams)
Contacting new freelancers to build and update price range guide and update freelancer list as well as adding to global freelance list.
