Area Sales Manager

The candidate must have 5-8 years of experience in the building materials’ business or the fabricator businesses like aluminum, steel, fibreglass, etc with a proven experience of dealing with consultants & contractors and is responsible for going to market – mapping, identifying, calling, meeting & pitching to keep the business ahead of the curve in Kenya. He/She must be solid in closing deals and chasing payments.
Job Profile:
Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential Developers/Glass Processors/Facade consultants/ Aluminium Fabricators
Develop contacts will all the players in the value/supply chain- commercial and Residentail markets 
Core Responsibilities:
Identify Project leads- through various sources
Involve in writing Glass specification/Find out the glass being specified
Get our glass specified and work closely with the value chain- Developer/Architect/Facade Consultant/ Glass Processor/ Glazing Company
Work Closely With the TSM and the plants
Regular reports on the market- contact with Architect associations/Facade consultants, etc
Work on a business Plan- 100,000 SQMT of coated glass sales.or 1 Million USD NSV.
Qualifications required:
Graduate in Science/ Civil Engg/ Architecture
