Head of Strategic Partnerships Business Development Manager

Responsibilities
Identify/evaluate opportunities. Develop insightful recommendations on strategic direction and specific project opportunities.
Play an active role as an interface to our customers and stakeholders, especially with regards to group-level interactions and C-level relationships.
Work collaboratively with Strategy and Regional Leads.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
BA/BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology (IT) or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in wireless, or wireline communication either as a vendor, operator or consultant.
Post-graduate level experience at a management consulting firm.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or graduate degree in a management, technical, or engineering field.
Experience and understanding of specificities of emerging markets, especially Sub-Saharan-Africa.
Experience leading complex operational and strategic initiatives; Proven track record of entrepreneurial activity in creating and scaling projects.
Current on wireless/wireline telecommunications technology and industry/ public policy. Current knowledge of 3G/4G backhaul technologies and fiber optics networks.
Ability to present to executives and to communicate with highly technical management.
