Responsibilities for the HR Consulting Assistant Job
Manage all client company HR needs
Manage the recruitment process from need identification to onboarding of candidates
Come up with innovative ways to hire candidates
Manage HR administration including keeping all paperwork and staff files
Preparing HR Procedures, HR manuals and staff handbooks
Ensuring all staff have employment contracts and renewals, if any, are done on time
Processing of leave applications for clients
Carrying out research and development in relevant areas
Facilitating training sessions and creating training content
Managing disciplinary cases
Responsible for Performance Management
Advise business managers on strategic aspects of the people function in the business
Carrying out research on trends that affect the work place in Kenya and globally
Involved in Business Development including drafting of proposals and quotations
Qualifications for the HR Consulting Assistant Job
Must understand business strategy
Must be a creative problem solver, finding solutions to work related challenges
Strong writing skills
Strong project management, time management and leadership skills
Solid problem-solving and business acumen skills
Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with people in the course of work
Strong level of influence and negotiation skills
Excellent team work skills
Should have excellent communication skills
Very keen attention to detail
End to end Human Resource function knowledge relevant to small businesses
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related fields from an accredited institution
Diploma in Human Resources
At least three years’ experience in a busy HR department or HR Consulting Agency
