Job Summary
Prepare accurate and timely periodic project financial reports and variance analysis in line with institutional and donor requirements.
Preparing monthly departmental accounting budget variance analysis reports.
Budget preparation and feasibility projections for major capital investments.
Managing projects accounts and donor funded projects accounting in compliance with donor reporting standards and regulations.
Costing of services and carrying out analysis for investment decisions
Managing project cash flow in compliance with Funding agency term sheet and donor requirements.
Required qualifications, attributes and experience
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Business Administration or equivalent professional qualifications
CPA (K) or equivalent
At least five (5) years’ experience in management accounting ; experience in donor funded accounting will be an added advantage
Good analytical and organisational skills with ability to efficiently take up multiple tasks under pressure and tight deadlines
Strong computer skills in accounting packages and Microsoft office applications such as Excel, word, PowerPoint, Project
