Country Manager- Construction Chemicals

What you can expect
The incumbent will responsible tor drive Strategy and portfolio management by defining and implementing strategy for business development across segments and for market sector for Eastern Africa. Duties will include the following:
 
Identify local business opportunities, and orchestrate their realization.
Define levels of country adaptations of the marketing and technical Go to Market approaches and ensure its implementation in Eastern Africa.
Implement the development Strategy for production and oversee production and supply chain side of the business in cooperation with Support functions from the regional offices.
Develop cross segment sales strategies.
Forster local key customer relationships.
Represent BASF in the country
Responsible for the adherence to EHSQ guidelines and principles as well as ensure that they are implemented.
 
What we expect
Relevant University degree is required.
10 years experience in relevant industries of which 5 years should be at management level, preferably within a multi-national organisation.
Strong business acumen and understanding of the industry.
Sound financial management experience.
