Procurement Officer

Areas of Responsibility
The Procurement Officer is expected to add value to WTK operations through the procurement department and will be responsible for the planning and coordination of procurement services; implementing and enforcing procurement policies and regulations and taking control of procurement processes.
He/She will work with the procurement committees to ensure professional procurement practices to maximize value from externally sourced products and services.
Qualifications:
A degree in purchasing and supply chain management
Member of CIPS or KISM
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in procurement management
Mastery of office software (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is required
Sound knowledge of the public procurement and disposals act
Familiarity with supply chain processes and procedures
Good interpersonal and public relationships
