Managing Director

The role will oversee the businesses day-to-day operations and deliver cost management and revenue generation.
This individual will be responsible for the effective planning, delegation, coordination, staffing, organisation and decision-making to deliver the Company’s growth targets.
This person will oversee the Sales and Marketing functions, and work with the Halliday Finch team to deliver the best results for its exacting client base.
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsible for delivering the Company’s sustained growth over a multi-year period. This includes controlling the operations, finance, business development and marketing divisions, as well as overseeing the immediate delivery of 2017 performance targets.
Formulate a strategic vision for the Company and for each of its divisions.
Responsible for building and maintaining an effective management team.
Report to the Board and brief the Company Directors on the development of the Company.
Identify and implement operational and fiscal performance measures to improve results (revenue, cost, profitability, client service, etc).
Lead, coach and mentor the Company’s leadership layer.
Represent the Company at events and with the press.
Support the hiring of key managers.
Implementation of the Company employee bonus scheme.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience within the security sector at the most senior level and have the necessary knowledge and understanding of Africa’s diverse markets. They will be used to working under pressure, be an effective decision-maker and deliver results. The individual will lead and motivate, set demanding goals and maintain high standards. They will be able think strategically, financially and have impeccable communication skills.
