Advertising Assistant

Job Purpose
Effective management of the marketing, advertising and promotional activities of the organization.
Advertising Assistant Job Duties and Responsibilities
Research of prime advertisement places which will include Above, Below and Through the line channels
Work with creative to ensure relevant marketing collateral is produced on schedule
Manage, refurbish the site sales offices i.e. ensuring the sites have signage and sales offices are branded
Media buying and ensuring the placement of ads in relevant media
Monitoring of OOH, campaigns and maintaining records of the same
Liaise with marketing to consolidate plans, campaign and any other relevant task
Report on discounts, leads/performance of the various advertising channels
Procure necessary permits for signage, events or any marketing function
Assist with event coordination
Establishing a yearly advertising planner for various product promotions
Education and Experience for the Advertising Assistant Job
A business degree in marketing or a business related field with a minimum of 2nd class Upper division
Completed or pursuing professional Marketing qualification (CIM or CAM).
At least a B+ in KCSE
