What you can expect
The incumbent will be tasked to intensify current sales and identify new and upcoming investment projects involving Chinese shoe producers in the Country. They will be responsible for the marketing and sales of the Company’s products, optimizing market share and profit margins. Core tasks willing include the following:
Develop business relation with the Chinese builders and promote the PM portfolio for the construction industry.
Initiate contacts and follow up with key decision makers of Chinese shoe factories to develop sales.
Follow up with Chinese contractors to promote PME solutions in the construction industry.
Provide business start-up support.
Ensuring ongoing market intelligence, research, identify and evaluate market trends and competitor activities in East Africa Markets.
Market and sell the company’s products to optimise market share and profit margins.
Maintain and develop customer relationships; identifying and implementing improvements to business processes.
Ensure ongoing and targeted business development and management of customer portfolios.
Compiling and monitoring sales budgets; adhering to defined Key Performance Indicators in terms of Product or Customer Management.
Managing relationships with suppliers; interaction and cooperation with relevant internal/ service units.
What we expect
Teritary qualification in the relevant field
Minimum of 5 years working experience in sales
Broad knowledge of Chinese footwear market in Ethiopia
Well connected to Foot wear manufacturer
Knowledge of Construction market in East Africa
Strong communications skills
Candidate must be fluent in Mandarin (written and spoken) and English (written and spoken).
