What responsibilities will you get when working with us?
Prepare various monthly reporting journals with completion of GL supporting schedules per monthly reporting deadlines.
Capture Inter –company transactions, balance confirmation and settlement follow up.
Perform Bank Reconciliations.
Maintain an up to date fixed asset register, tag assets and ensure adequate insurance cover for risks and run depreciation on a monthly basis.
Provide daily cash sales updates, customer reconciliations and produce invoices as required as well as provide dashboards for revenue reporting against budgets on a regular basis.
Maintain a strict 30 day receivables cycle for all debtors while ensuring adequate follow up and provision for bad debts.
Ensure staff airtime top up as scheduled on a monthly basis.
Assist with conducting of statutory year-end audit.
Maintain office Petty Cash and Mpesa float.
Ensure Corporate Credit cards are maintained within the approved limits and settled on a timely basis.
Issue travel allowances to staff and ensure duly submitted and captured expense reports.
Prepare a monthly rolling forecast for cashflows and marketing budgets in the geographical areas controlled in Kenya.
Contribute to execution strategy and cost management for marketing budgets in Kenya, Uganda, Ghana and other territories entered into by the supported businesses.
Contract and approval of new suppliers through formulation and implementation of sound procurement procedures in line with Naspers Group Policy. Maintain good relations with suppliers and other business stakeholders and negotiate for favourable payment terms with suppliers.
Make supplier payment for all countries in scope as per set timelines.
File statutory payments in an accurate and timely basis. Includes VAT, WHT, NSSF, NHIF.
Analyse and compare actual data/information against budgeted and forecasted numbers for business units and provide explanations as requested for all territories covered- Kenya, Uganda and Ghana.
Produce accurate financial reports to specific deadlines and stay abreast of changes in financial regulation and legislation to ensure full MIH IEA compliance

Desired Qualifications:
University business degree qualification.
CPA K qualification.
5 years’ previous relevant work experience.
Knowledge of Ms Office applications and advanced skill with Ms-excel.
Knowledge of ACCPAC accounting software an advantage.
