Graphic Designer

Job Summary
This position is responsible for designing or creating graphics to meet specific commercial or promotional needs such as packaging, displays or logos. Incumbent will also be responsible for developing the overall layout and production design for various applications such as advertisements, brochures, magazines and corporate reports.
Graphic Designer Job Key Responsibilities
Plans concept by studying information and materials.
Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.
Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval.
Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art.
Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type, size, style and related aesthetic concepts.
Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts and developing interactive design.
Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time.
Demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches and working on layouts ready for print.
Working with a range of media, including computer-aided design and keeping up to date with emerging technologies.
Qualifications for Graphic Designer Job
Diploma in Graphic Design.
At least one year experience in graphic design activities.
Able to handle Adobe (Photoshop, Design, Illustrator and Light room) and Desktop publishing tools.
Knowledge in After Effects and Premier pro is an added advantage.
Excellent communications, interpersonal, organizational and administrative skills.
Must be computer literate.
Able to work in a team.
Assertive.
Keen on details.
