Airline Sales Manager – (Ref: 15/04)

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, the Sales Manager will be responsible for the following;
Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy for the regions which will support delivery of Timbis business objectives focusing on key target audiences identified by customer segmentation analysis
Collaborates with MD in establishing and recommending the most realistic sales goals for the company.
Manages an assigned geographic sales area to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives.
Performs sales activities on major accounts and negotiates sales price and discounts in consultation with CEO and MD
Reviews progress of sales and submit weekly report to CEO and MD.
Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.
Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all company’s products.
Achieve goals and productivity, respect pre assigned deadline.
Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.
Create and maintain a list of potential customer database (NGO, private sector).
Collaborates with MD to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines.
Interprets short- and long-term effects on sales strategies in operating profit.
Proper use and level of sales support, management of expenses.
Collaborates with MD to establish and control budgets for sales promotion and PR.
Attend weekly sales meeting  with management.
Reports directly to MD.
To manage the receipt, handling, and escalation of all sales enquiries
To monitor the status of all enquiries and to ensure all actions are completed in a timely professional manner and escalated to CEO and MD when required
To ensure that all quotes are presented as required
To follow up sales activities with clients & potential clients
To chase and analyze the reasons for failure to turn an enquiry into a new order 
Create a marketing and PR plan to be approved by the directors based on 6 months period
Update the marketing and PR plan on a monthly basis
Identify potential areas for marketing opportunities locally, nationally and throughout Africa
Co-ordinate the market and client news in order to produce sales leads
Produce a company newsletter monthly by email
Produce and organize leaflets, banners, flyers, brochures, etc.
Produce and organize the company’s PR, press releases, articles, podcasts, blogs
To manage and develop appropriate forms of social media (Twitter, Linked In, Facebook)
Qualifications;
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, or related  field and 5+ years’ professional experience.
5+ years of experience relating to software sales/marketing Experience and/or knowledge in Airport and Airline Operations 
 5+ years of experience in marketing and customer development and support
