Country Manager

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
(A) TECHNICAL:
 
Provide steam generation solutions for process and power needs. Offer packaged heating systems for process heating, incidental and cogeneration power requirements.
Detailed study of heating requirements and distribution of steam in process industries like Food, Beverages, Tea, Pharma, Chemical, etc. Offering range of options covering combustion of various solid, liquid and gaseous fuels, heat recovery from gas turbine/engine exhaust, waste heat recovery and fired heaters for various industrial processes and applications.
Analysis of electrical load and working out feasibility of energy efficient and eco-friendly technologies like vapour absorption machines and heat pumps for process cooling and air conditioning.
Impart expertise in all areas of environment protection – products and systems for air pollution control, retrofit and rebuild services for equipment handling particulate or gaseous emissions, thereby help in reduction of carbon footprint.
Explore opportunities to convert waste to energy through versatile technologies.
Renovation, modernisation and upgradation solutions for old boilers.
Provide end-to-end solutions in water treatment, wastewater treatment, effluent recycle and zero liquid discharge solutions to customers, consultants and OEMs.
Market a wide range of specialty chemicals to help improve processes and product performance for a spectrum of industries
 
(B) Management:
 
Responsible for heading the business and operations in the region
Develop sustainable energy and environment solutions for the region
Responsible for the Profit & Loss account and order booking of country’s business and entire value chain viz. Enquiry-Order-Cash
Increase sales growth, market penetration and optimize utilization of resources
Responsible for the Annual & Strategic Business Plan in the region
Build and train team of local Kenyan sales and service engineers / personnel
Identify and optimize local supply chain and service delivery to ensure customer satisfaction
Overall accountability for commercial, regulatory, administrative, legal and other statutory compliance
Identify and develop local business associates and partnerships.

Essential Qualification   : BE (Mechanical/ Electrical)
Experience                   : 8 to 11 years
Products to be handled : Multiple utilities products of Thermax like- Boilers, Heaters, Absorption Chillers, Air Pollution Control Equipment, Steam Accessories, Spare Parts and Retrofits
Position type               : Full Time

EXPERIENCE/ EXPOSURE
 
Sales experience in Boilers, Heaters, Absorption Chillers, Air Pollution Control Equipment, Steam Accessories, Spare Parts and Retrofits Application orientation of technical concepts with respect to products and solutions
Should have experience and expertise in evaluating the customer technical requirements and suggesting appropriate products/ solutions from Thermax’s range
Experience of P&L / top line responsibility in light to heavy engineering/ capital goods company
