Audit Senior

Reporting to the audit manager and/or audit partner, the audit senior’s role is to:
 
Lead engagement teams to ensure work performed meets quality assurance standards and is executed in line with the RSM audit methodology
Develop the audit plan to address the risks identified and the client’s unique operating structure
Proactively manage client issues and expectations by providing optimal business solutions tailored to meet the needs of the clients
Provide on-the job training and supervision of the audit team
Bring to the attention of the audit manager/audit partner significant matters arising on the assignment
 
Qualifications / Requirements:
 
University degree in areas of finance
Qualified CPA (K), ACCA, ACA or equivalent professional qualification
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position and at least 4 years of combined audit experience
Excellent inter-personal, report writing and communication skills
Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and International Standards on Auditing
Effective time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
Experience conducting audits of financial services including banks and insurance companies, will be advantageous (but not a must)
