Job Responsibilities
Work closely with the SSA and other legal colleagues on regulatory, employment, litigation and a broad range of commercial transactions including licensing, marketing, promotional and strategic partnership agreements and other unique issues impacting Uber across the region.
Provide strategic and proactive legal support to business operations teams in order to ensure effective risk management and compliance with internal policies and governing laws and regulations.
Research, review and analyze legal risk as applicable to Uber’s business model.
Qualifications
5-7 years of legal experience, ideally with a combination of private practice and in-house.
Experience with technology or consumer facing companies preferred.
Fluent in written and spoken English (fluency in French would be an added plus).
Strong academic credentials and law degree from a top law school.
Excellent business judgment, a crisp writing style, and a drive to get things done.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in high impact and high profile situations.
